Most of my poetry, as performed, is both theatrical and interactive, written to suit a range of audience sensibilities. I have a broad repertoire which can incorporate puppets, props and costumes, with varying degrees of innuendo, candour and undress. I have a rich vein of LGBT-themed work. In 2010 (when I came third in the Scottish Poetry Slam Championship) I won Glam Slam UK (photos here); in 2011 I was the poetry slam champion at StAnza International Poetry Festival, where I was invited to perform the following year.
Over the last few years, I have helped spread the comedy of spoken word at the Edinburgh Fringe as part of Arguments and Nosebleeds.
